We were thrilled to be featured in Landmarks Illinois’ video series “People Saving Places”! The Shrine was one of only eight preservation projects selected by Landmarks Illinois out of the over 100 projects they are involved with around the state. In the spring, film students from our neighbor Kennedy King College captured the inspirational story of Save the Shrine. The eight videos “show how people are leveraging historic preservation to boost civic and economic development, attract cultural heritage tourism and increase pride of place”.
